This Privacy Policy is made in compliance with article 13 of the GDPR 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation), of the Recommendation no. 2/2001 of the Working Group pursuant to art. 29 and of the General Provision of the Privacy Guarantor concerning cookies of 8 May 2014, n. 229

Purposes and Data Processing

This section contains information about the management methods of the CNR (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche) concerning the processing of data of users of: ifn.cnr.it.

This information is provided only for the CNR-IFN portal (ifn.cnr.it) and not for other websites that may be reached by the user via links

Some pages may require personal data: it is informed that failure to provide them may make it impossible to achieve the purposes for which the processing is connected.

In accordance with Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679, it is hereby informed that the processing of personal data carried out through www.cnr.it relates exclusively to personal data acquired in relation to the achievement of the institutional purposes of the CNR or otherwise connected to the exercise of public interest tasks and the exercise of public powers to which it is called, including the purposes of scientific research and analysis for statistical purposes, teaching, and administration ( pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, letter e), and, in particular, for the purpose of providing and improving the web services offered.

Such personal data are processed lawfully, fairly, relevantly, limited to what is necessary for the purposes of processing, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected, and in accordance with the principles set out in Article 5 of EU Regulation 2016/679.

Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.

Rights of Data Subjects

Data subjects have the right to request from the data controller access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning them, and to object to processing, as provided for in Articles 15 and subsequent of EU Regulation 2016/679.

The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Controller. Requests should be addressed to: direttore.ufficiostampa@cnr.it.

Data subjects, where applicable, are also granted the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, namely the Garante (Italian Data Protection Authority).

Pursuant to Regulation 2016/679, the Data Controller is CNR – Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, with registered office in Rome, Piazzale Aldo Moro 7, 00185 Rome, Italy.

Pursuant to Regulation 2016/679, the Data Processor responsible for personal data processing through www.cnr.it is the CNR Press Office, which can be contacted at the following email address: direttore.ufficiostampa@cnr.it. The data subject has the right to submit their request, if possible, for the removal or modification of personal data processing by writing to: aoim2024@pd.ifn.cnr.it
